To begin, please submit an Inquiry Form. When your inquiry is processed, you will receive a myMilken username and password which will give you access to the online application.

Complete Your Application
Your application can be completed at your convenience. You can log out and return to complete the application without losing data before submitting the final version. We recommend submitting applications as soon as possible. Early applicants will be assigned to an earlier interview date starting in September.

Application Deadlines:
  • For sibling and legacy applications, the deadline is Monday, October 15, 2018.
  • For Middle School and all transfer applications, the priority deadline is Monday, December 3, 2018.
  • Fore 9th Grade, the priority application deadline is Monday, December 17, 2018.

A complete application includes:
  • The completed application form, including parent and student questionnaires
  • Photo of applicant
  • Non-refundable application fee of $150
Provide Supplemental Forms and Transcripts
The Administrator and Teacher Recommendations and Authorization for Release of Records are available to print from this page. Please provide these forms to the applicant’s current school as they are also required for the application to be complete. The deadline to submit student records and test scores is Friday, January 18, 2019. 
Attend Your Interview
Upon receipt of the completed application, the Office of Admission will schedule your interview. Interviews allow you and your child to meet with a member of the admission team. Interviews are usually 15-30 minutes each in length. Please allow approximately 1.5 hours for your visit to Milken. We encourage both parents/guardians to join us for this important part of the interview process. We also welcome families to attend special performances, lectures, or athletic games. Tour Milken Community Schools

Schedule the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE)
Consideration for admission is based upon a number of factors, which include the application, the interview, standardized test scores, transcripts, and recommendations. Applicants to Milken Community Schools are required to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). Registration may be completed on the Education Records Bureau’s (ERB’s) website www.erblearn.org. Our school code is 054159.

For your convenience, the ISEE test will be offered at Milken on Sunday, December 9, 2018. Scores must be received by Friday, January 18, 2019.

Admission Decision Notification Dates:
  • Upper School notification letters will be sent on Friday, March 8, 2019
  • Upper School enrollment contracts are due Tuesday, March 19, 2019
  • Middle School notification letters will be sent on Friday, March 15, 2019
  • Middle School enrollment contracts are due Monday, March 25, 2019.
Admission Decision Committee
A committee comprised of school administrators and rabbis along with the admission team meets to review applications to both the Middle School and Upper School. Consideration for admission is based upon a number of factors that include the application, the interview, standardized test scores, transcripts, and recommendations.
