Core courses in each department fulfill the graduation requirements below:

  • Health--1 semester (by end of Grade 10)
  • Jewish Culture, Identity, & Values (J-CIV)--3 years*
  • Jewish Studies--4 years
  • Mathematics--3 years (by end of Grade 11)**
  • Physical Education--2 years***  
  • Science--3 years (by end of Grade 11)**
  • Social Science--4 years, including 1 semester of Israel Studies (Grade 11 or 12)
  • Visual/Performing Arts--1 year       
  • World Language--4 years*
  • General Electives--5 semesters   
  • Senior Sermon--preparation and oral delivery
  • Community Service--90 hours     

* Taking 4 years of Hebrew simultaneously satisfies the World Language (4 years) and J-CIV (3 years) requirement.
** Students are also required to take either a science or a math course in Grade 12; most students opt to take both.
*** This can be accomplished through four semesters of Physical Education classes or 1 semester of Personal Fitness and 3 seasons of an athletic sport. The Tiferet program includes credit for 1 Physical Education class.
