Innovations in Real Estate from Keith Wasserman '02

Keith Wasserman '02 is making a statement in the real estate world. His company, Gelt, Inc, has surpassed $1 billion of real estate acquired, including more than 7,100 apartment units and mobile home park sites, since the company’s inception in 2009. They have now expanded to nine states, as well. Keith also launched The Gelt Foundation, a public nonprofit that was created to help responsible tenants stay in their apartments during an unexpected financial emergency.

In addition, Keith is a co-founder of Domuso, a financial technology startup that is a property management system and payment portal. The program lets tenants in sticky situations pay late rent over time without experiencing negative effects on their credit scores. They just announced their $3.1 million funding round, which brings the total capital raised to date at $5.8 million. Check out the TechCrunch article about Domuso to learn more.
