Milken’s new DECA Business Chapter, started by Marc Pakravan ’14, had a strong showing at their first competition held in Anaheim.
DECA is an international organization that hosts business competitions across the world. Case studies are the main event at the conferences. Competitors are given a business scenario on their topic and must come up with a solution to present impromptu to judges.

Marc Pakravan won first place in Retail Merchandising/Marketing; Oliver Pourbaba ‘16 and Adam Mokhtarzadeh '16 won third place in Buying and Merchandising; and Elliott Sina ’17 was a finalist in Sports and Entertainment Marketing.

The team is looking forward to next year and is currently building a formidable team for the next competition.
