Faculty Members Present at Annual NAIS Conference

Congratulations to Genevieve Morgan, Chris McAdamis, and Ann Whiting.
The three Milken faculty members conducted a workshop at the National Association for Independent Schools (NAIS) annual conference in Baltimore, Maryland on Friday, March 3.

Their presentation was entitled "Don't Play Me: Adopting Playful Learning Strategies in the Classroom and School-wide." Approximately 100 people attended the workshop that included an overview of the philosophy of using games in the classroom, an escape room activity for attendees, and a discussion of the mechanics of crafting games that meet curricular goals. Their workshop was one of about 150 that were chosen from over 700 submissions by educators around the world.
