Middle School Girls Volleyball Coach

POSITION OVERVIEW
Milken Community School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Middle School Girls Volleyball Coach for the 2026 spring season. We are looking for a positive role model who is passionate about working with student-athletes, committed to fostering skill development, and able to create a supportive and competitive team environment. Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and the Program Head.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and supervise all practices, games, and team events throughout the season.
  • Teach fundamental volleyball skills, strategies, and sportsmanship.
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, families, and athletics staff.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes.
  • Ride the team bus to and from all competition sites.
  • Model professionalism, responsibility, and integrity at all times.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior coaching or competitive volleyball experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage, motivate, and mentor middle school athletes.
  • Reliable, responsible, and committed to the full season schedule.
  • Must be able to travel with the team on school-provided transportation.
 
SEASON DATES: February 23, 2026 – May 21, 2026
HOURLY RATE: $30-$35
