    Position Overview
    The Upper School Counselor is a full-time member of the Health and Wellness Department, reporting to the Director of Counseling. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a team of student support professionals in order to provide emotional and social support of students with a focus on preventative measures and early intervention. In addition, the Upper School Counselor should demonstrate a working knowledge of mental health resources in Southern California as well as current and relevant laws pertaining to the health and safety of high school students in the State of California.

  • Upper School Jewish Studies Teacher

    The Upper School Jewish Studies Teacher is a full-time teacher and member of the Jewish Studies Department, reporting to the Department Chair and Rabbinic Director. A candidate must be a highly skilled and engaging teacher in the fields of classical Jewish study: Halakhah, Aggadah, Chumash, Talmud, commentaries, and Jewish thought. The ideal candidate is interested in working collaboratively in a highly innovative, integrated, and pluralistic Jewish school. Primary responsibilities include: teaching four Jewish Studies classes per year, leading spiritual practice, mentoring students in the development of a Senior Sermon, and collaborating on school-wide programming in areas such as Shabbatonim, holiday celebration and observance, and social action.
