Noah Daniel '17 Accepted into Innovative Princeton Program
Simply getting accepted into Princeton wasn't enough for Noah Daniel '17. He also wanted to be one of a select number of students admitted into the University's competitive Bridge Year Program. Each year, those accepted into the program spend nine-months engaged in community service work abroad. This experiential learning program was one that greatly interested Noah, who wanted to complete his service work in Bolivia. In an article for the Jewish Journal, Noah is quoted as saying, "I am Latino but I have never really explored that side of myself," adding that he feels strongly connected to his Jewish identity and wanted to have similar experiences with his Latino roots.
Noah now joins several other Princeton students, who will all begin their undergraduate studies in fall 2018 upon completion of the program, on a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Bolivia, where they are learning about language, culture, politics, geography, and more as they assimilate into another culture.
At Milken, Noah pursued his passion for music and science, which included spending part of his junior and senior years at USC's Brain and Creativity Institute, where he assisted with research related to music and the brain. You can read more about his experience in the Jewish Journal.
