Sophomore Awarded Prize in RAVSAK Student Judaic Art Contest

Mazal tov to Abigail Thurmond ‘18 for placing second in the 2016 RAVSAK Artists’ Beit Midrash in the grade 9-12 Drawing and Painting category!
More than 800 students, representing 35 day schools around the world, submitted original works to the contest, based on the theme "Ahava-Love.”

Abigail will receive a $75 art supply gift card. Her winning artwork “The Absence of Love!” will appear in the 2016 issue of HaYidion, which will be released in May.
