Milken Educators Attend The World Positive Education Accelerator
Twelve Milken team members recently attended The World Positive Education Accelerator in Fort Worth, Texas. Milken was a sponsor of the conference, which focused on how positive psychology and the cutting edge science of human flourishing can assist educators in helping their schools, systems, and students thrive. Leading experts in the field shared their ideas and innovations, and the Milken team spent four days working with and learning from schools, educators, and business professionals from around the world. The key takeaway from the conference was that all members of our community, including our students, perform better when they are well, and they don’t need to choose between well-being, rigor, and accomplishment. They are synergistic, mutually reinforcing and built through practices that are at the heart of and driven by the values of Judaism.
