Ari Davine ’05 Helps Clients Record Precious Memories
Over the past two years, there has been a ton of change in the life of Ari Davine ’05. Not only did he and his wife celebrate the birth of their daughter, Maggie, on August 26 this year, but his career has seen some exciting advancements.
In 2016, Ari wrapped up an 18-month leadership training program through the Jewish Federation called the Community Leadership Institute (CLI). This highly competitive program was designed to groom the next generation of leaders of Jewish institutions and non-profit organizations across Los Angeles. As a result of this program, Ari gained a comprehensive understanding of the Jewish landscape in Los Angeles, while developing great friendships and connections along the way. The experience solidified his desire to make a difference in the Jewish community, particularly through advocacy of Israel, engagement of Jewish life on college campuses, and the fight against Anti-Semitism and Anti-Zionism.
This lead to a career change in 2017. After working in the entertainment industry since graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2009, Ari joined Story Terrace, an innovative startup, which provides talented ghostwriters for clients to capture the memories and life stories of individuals throughout the world. Founded in 2013 with offices located in the Netherlands and London, the company opened its US headquarters here in Los Angeles shortly before Ari joined their team as Head of Sales and Customer Relations. Story Terrace not only allows him to provide individuals and families across the country with books containing meaningful life stories, but also gives him the privilege of selling something every day, of which the value is priceless.
