Jaye Kasper ’07 on Cultural Awareness and the Law

As a student at Milken, Jaye learned how to connect with members of the Jewish community all over the world by having the shared experience of attending a Jewish day school. As an attorney and avid traveler (Tel Aviv has become one of her favorite cities in the world), Jaye’s foundation in world culture and language from Milken has proven its worth. An outstanding Milken student and member of the National Honor Society, 12th Grade Class Council, and Dance Team, Jaye took advantage of every enriching opportunity available to her. She noted, “My Hebrew language skills were also super helpful when I lived in Tel Aviv [where I] was able to continue learning Hebrew.”

After graduating from Milken in 2007, Jaye enrolled at University of Southern California where she graduated in 2011 with a bachelor’s in business administration and a minor in communications and the entertainment industry. After finishing college, Jaye moved to Tel Aviv, Israel where she interned for a startup company.

She returned to the United States to attend Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2015. Following that, Jaye relocated to New York City to work as an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where she now focuses on mergers and acquisitions and private equity matters.
