Varsity Golfers Earn League Honors

A big congratulations to Varsity Golfers Griffin Feldman ‘20 and Jordan Brenner ’17 for earning League honors. Griffin won the Liberty League Golf Title on April 27 by shooting a 76 and was crowned Liberty League MVP. Jordan shot the next closest score, an 82. The Liberty League coaches displayed tremendous sportsmanship by allowing Jordan (last year’s MVP) to play before he left on the March of the Living Trip. Griffin and Jordan finished 1 and 2 in the league to earn spots on the All Liberty League Team.

Both players competed in the 18-hole CIF Northern Individual tournament on May 8 at River Ridge Golf Club in Oxnard, with Griffin shooting an 80 and Jordan an 84. It capped off a very successful season in which the Varsity Golf team repeated as Liberty League Champions.

Griffin reflected on his MVP win and the championship season, “Being named MVP is not something I will take lightly because a lot of hard work was put into my game for me to be at this point. This season has been one I will not forget and I can’t thank Coach Dan enough. I can’t wait for next season as Milken will win another championship. Go Wildcats!”
