Congratulations to Wendy Hawkins on her recent publication in the Soil Science Society of America Journal.
The article entitled, "Soil Mineralogy of a Vernal Pool Catena in Southern California," describes the soil mineral components of a vernal pool watershed on a basalt flow in southern California and interprets the mineral origins and relationships to the soil hydrologic environment.
