Teen Fiction Writer Visits Campus

Milken was pleased to welcome Robyn Schneider, author of The Beginning of Everything and Extraordinary Means, to campus on Friday, February 3.
Robyn read excerpts from The Beginning of Everything and presented a video book trailer for Extraordinary Means. The lunchtime lecture wrapped up with a Q&A followed by a book signing. Afterward, Robyn visited a creative writing class and conducted a writing lesson on creating believable and relatable characters.

About the experience, Robyn noted, "Your students are amazing—I was so floored by their talent and creativity. I'm so glad they found some inspiration in my lecture and are still working on their stories. I'm happy to come back and visit anytime!"
