Lit Mag Wins NCTE Award

Milken's 2015-2016 literary magazine, Verbatim, was recently awarded a certificate of "Recommended Highest Award" from the National Council of Teachers of English.
The award recognizes excellence in student literary magazines. Milken was one of only 24 schools in the nation to be honored. Based on a rating scale of 70-100, Verbatim was rated in the "Superior" (91-100) range.

Congratulations to the student editors — Saphira Howell '16 (Editor in Chief), Lexi Freund '17, Kayla Pournazarian '16, Navid Rodd '17, and Aaron Saliman '18 — as well as faculty advisor Melody Mansfield.
