Every school has its traditions, and at Milken, ours run deep. Students here look forward to exciting events and milestones that have long ushered their peers into our classrooms and out into the wider world.
During Middle School Orientation Week, students join together for a community-building retreat. “Camp Milken” allows students to make new friends, meet with their advisory group and get ready for the academic year.
Homecoming
Support the Milken Wildcats as they fight for glory! For more information, check out our athletics page.
Purim
Every year, our senior class performs a Purim shpiel for the rest of the school. Hijinks are the order of the day as students learn – through traditional and comedic means – the origins and importance of the holiday.
Senior Year
The senior year at Milken is designed to give students time to refine and reflect on the work they have accomplished as they prepare for the transition to university. While completing the college application process and maintaining their high academic standards, our seniors also enjoy a series of events that help them mark this exceptional moment in their lives: the Senior Shabbaton, a parent-organized Senior Mystery Night, Senior Prom and a celebration of learning during the Senior Siyyum.
At Milken Community School, we think education is more than what you know. Our School, founded on Jewish values, is about who our children can become and how they can help others become who they might be. Because the world our children will create tomorrow is born in the School we build today, our mission is to educate our children so they can surpass us.
