Milken’s Middle School curriculum helps students develop effective study habits, achieve key academic goals and experience important social-emotional growth. Our core classes and electives promote collaboration, creative problem-solving and academic initiative. We provide a developmentally responsive learning environment – one that encourages students to pursue their academic passions and take intellectual risks, to think critically, to take positive action and to be a part of something greater than themselves.
Throughout the school year, Middle School students have opportunities to learn, explore and make connections outside the classroom. These include academic field trips
and service-learning experiences
aligned to the Middle School curriculum, Jewish values and community building. Hands-on activities empower students to apply what they are learning to the real world, to collaborate with mentors and peers and to reflect on their potential impact on society.
