Student Teams Compete at Conrad Innovation Summit

Two Milken teams pitched their innovations at the Pete Conrad Innovation Challenge Summit.
Team Vita Tech (Ziv Batscha '17 and Jack Isen '17) pitched their device SafeCycle, which aids in preventing auto related cycling accidents.

Team Defibrillator Innovators (Lauren Solouki '17 and Ashley Yeshoua '17) presented the Defappulator, a defibrillator with a battery that can be externally charged, along with an application to allow patients to view remaining battery life.

Vita Tech was selected as a finalist. Though neither team came away with awards, the Summit, held at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center in Florida in front of innovators, entrepreneurs, and angel investors, was an excellent opportunity for students to compete against the best and brightest from around the globe.
