Faculty Member Recognized by LAMOTH

Congratulations to social science teacher and Milken alumna Stacey Janks Jasper ’03.
Stacey was recently presented with the 2015 Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust (LAMOTH) Righteous Conversations Award at its annual gala dinner. Stacey leads the Righteous Conversation Project at Milken, which matches students with Holocaust survivors to create PSAs and short films that connect Holocaust themes to contemporary issues.

Stacey also instituted the Milken chapter of the L’Dough V’Dough Club where students bake challah bread with Holocaust survivors who share their stories and engage in discussions on social justice.
