Grade 9 Students Get Taste of Service Learning

On Sunday, September 20, 9th graders participated in a morning of on-campus service to strengthen their connection to Milken and the greater community.
Led by the Vatikim (the senior student leadership core dedicated to mentoring freshmen students), ten service learning activities were offered including creating a butterfly garden, making blankets for Project Linus, and mulching trees to protect them from the drought. It was a successful introduction to service for the Class of 2019.
