Gabrielle McHale

Gabrielle McHale joined Milken Community High School in 2004 to serve as the Dean of Students for the Class of 2008. During her four years at Milken, she also served as an Advisor and an Advanced Placement Art History teacher. In her various roles, Gabrielle has experienced first-hand the incredible learning, spiritual and extra-curricular opportunities afforded to Milken students.
Prior to joining Milken, Gabrielle earned her Masters of Arts Degree in Educational Administration from the Klingenstein Center’s Private School Leadership Program at Columbia University, New York. Before that, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Gabrielle became an administrator and educator primarily because of her positive experience attending the Francis W. Parker School, a highly regarded K-12 independent school in Chicago.
Gabrielle is excited that in her new position as Director of Admission she will facilitate the introduction of new families to Milken Community High School.
Amy Miller

As an alumnus from the Milken Community High School, Class of 2000, Amy is pleased to be returning as a professional staff member serving as the Associate Director of Admission. Amy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Michigan and her Master’s of Arts in the Humanities from the University of Chicago, where she concentrated on contemporary Holocaust texts.
Since her return to Los Angeles, Amy has been an Advisor and Humanities Teacher at Wildwood Secondary School working with ninth and tenth grade students. At Wildwood, Amy worked with an interdisciplinary curriculum and employed progressive philosophies in her teaching practices. Amy is delighted to put her energies and skills to work in a Jewish environment that has influenced her in so many positive ways.
Amy grew up in the Los Angeles area and attended Abraham Joshua Heschel Day School. Amy was recently married to her husband Joseph Miller, whom she met at Camp Ramah.
Rachelle Lobato

Rachelle Lobato joined the Milken Community High School admission team in April 2007. Ms. Lobato received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from the University of Arizona where she also studied public and community health education.
In Arizona, Ms. Lobato was an active community volunteer and worked with several organizations including the Southern Arizona Red Cross, Catalina Players Theatre Company, and Bone Builders, an osteoporosis prevention education program.
