The Orchestra, made up of students from the various Stephen S. Wise Temple Schools, and schools citywide, creates a positive, informed sense of Jewish identity and heritage. The religiously diverse group rehearses and plays classical repertoire, Jewish music, and specially commissioned works alongside professional musicians. After only a few years, the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra has already become a musical voice that embraces the entire Los Angeles community.
