To receive credit for hesed work a student must follow these steps:

• Have the project pre-approved by Mrs. Ordower. Anything on the community service board outside the library (make it a habit to look there for ideas) or on the Community Service Organization List is automatically approved, as long as the exact work being done fulfills the above guidelines.Other projects must be approved in advance or credit may not be granted for the service performed.
  
• Have a time sheet signed by an authorized staff member or volunteer coordinator of the agency, and submit this form in a timely fashion to Mrs. Ordower.
  
• If unsure about whether credit can be received for a particular project, complete a Pre-Approval Form.
  
• All forms are available outside Mrs. Ordower's office.
