Thanksgiving Event 2010
Milken welcomed back over 150 alumni on November 24th for the annual Young Alumni Thanksgiving Event. Graduates returned to Milken from their respective colleges to reunite with friends and faculty in this annual tradition. A special thanks to Talia Bender ’10 and Maya Raymond ‘10 for speaking to the attendees about the importance of alumni giving. If you have any questions regarding a pledge you made upon graduation from Milken please email the alumni office.

Alumni Basketball Game 2010
It was a great turn out at this year’s Varsity vs. Alumni Basketball Game on January 9. Former basketball players from the classes of 1995 to 2010 joined together to face Coach Iverson’s girl’s team, followed by the boy’s game versus Coach Whiting’s varsity team. The varsity girls beat the alumnae, but the boys alumni team came out victorious against the varsity boys. Look out for more details regarding an alumni basketball tournament this June during Reunion Weekend!

Career Discovery Day
On February 10, 2011, David Ashkenazi ’05, Alexis Berman ’03, Max Borenstein ’99, David Chasin ’00, Pamela Kleinman ’97, and Micah Scheindlin ‘07, came to campus to speak to Milken senior students at our Annual Career Discovery Day.

David Ashkenazi and David Chasin spoke about their jobs in the business arena. Alexis described her work as a designer and artist. Max was terrific as he spoke about his work as a screenwriter at the popular Entertainment table. Pamela told about her work as a case manager for the Center for Autism and Related Disorders. Micah was a hit as he talked to the seniors about working as a political consultant.

If you are interested in coming to speak at next year’s Career Discovery Day or want to be a career mentor to a senior student or young alumnus, please email the alumni office at alumni@MilkenSchool.org.

Thanks again to David, Alexis, Max, David, Pamela, and Micah for giving our senior students great insight about your careers and the paths you have each taken.
