Milken Community High School and Stephen S. Wise Temple celebrate Mitzvah Day and once again team up to host Milken's fifth annual
Fashion with Compassion charity event on at the Temple. Proceeds of this event will benefit Beit Issie Shapiro, a national, multi-purpose organization that develops and provides services for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
Doors open for boutique shopping Sunday, November 4, at 11 a.m. in Zeldin-Hershenson Hall with the fashion show, organized and performed by Milken students, to follow at noon in the Westwood Sanctuary.
Students will walk the runway to showcase the latest in fall fashion trends from some of L.A.'s hippest boutiques, with participating vendors to include Beach Mint, Blee Inara, Blue Jean Bar, Bordeaux, Catchy Things, Cult Gaia, Dalia’s, Gifted, Harper Ave, Ivy G and Friends, Jane of Tarzana, Kyle by Alene Too, LA Sweet Stop, Leila Jewelry, Love Beatrice, MeUndies, Michael J. Lopez, Michael Stars, NLN, Planezoot, Premier Kids, Premier Men, Premier Women, Purses For Peace, Street Saint Cosmetics, Studs LA, and Vertigo. Over fifteen vendors will be on hand before and after the show, selling clothing, jewelry and accessories – all with a percentage of these sales also to benefit
