The first step in applying to Milken is to return the completed Student and Parent Application with the application fee of $150 to the Office of Admission. The Office of Admission will then schedule an interview and private campus tour for applicants and their parents. Families will be notified of the interview date and time via mail and are asked to confirm the date and time with the Office of Admission upon receipt.

Interviews allow you and your child to meet one-on-one with a member of the admission team.  Interviews are usually 30 minutes in length and allow both applicants and their parents to meet one-on-one with a member of the admission team. Each interview is followed by a private tour of our campus and should last approximately 30 minutes. Please allot 60-90 minutes for your visit to Milken. The final week to schedule an interview or tour is February 8-12.

Consideration for admission is based upon a number of factors which include the application, the interview, standardized test scores, transcripts and recommendations. Therefore, all applicants to Milken Community High School must submit the following to the Office of Admission: Transcripts, including most recent grades, Administrator Recommendation, Teacher Recommendations, and Standardized Test Scores.

Applicants to Milken Community High School are required to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE).  The ISEE test will be offered at Milken Community High School on Sunday, January 10, 2010. The deadline to register for the ISEE at Milken is December 19, 2009.

Decision letters for students applying to the Upper School (Grades 9-11) will be mailed on March 12, 2010. Decision letters for students applying to the Middle School (Grades 7 & 8) will be mailed on March 26, 2010. Upper School enrollment contracts are due March 30, 2010 and Middle School enrollment contracts are due April 13, 2010.
